Serbian minister denies refusing to talk to Croatian media

Serbia’s Minister for European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic denied refusing to talk to Croatian media at a meeting of the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) in Slovenia.

Joksimovic told N1 in Brdo kod Kranja that she did not refuse to speak to a Croatian reporter but that she did not want to speak about Serbia-Croatia relations. She said any reporter could ask her about the meeting.

Joksimovic said that the Croatian reporter was aggressive, adding that >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << she does not want to communicate in that way.

TV N1 Zagreb correspondent Hrvoje Kresic reported earlier that Joksimovic refused to answer questions from Croatian reporters.

Her associates first told the Croatian reporters that they would be told when Joksimovic would be making a statement and then later said there would be no press point and the minister confirmed that to Kresic.

Croatian reporters later saw Minister Joksimovic making a statement to Serbian media crews. Kresic asked why she wasn’t talking to Croatian reporters and she said she chooses who to speak, the media crews she brought with her.
