Serbian Finance Minister Vujovic resigns
Serbian Finance Minister Dusan Vujovic resigned his post citing personal reasons, Belgrade media reported on Monday.
“Four years are quite enough for a man to prove himself in a public position,” Vujovic wrote in his resignation to Prime Minister Ana Brnabic.
There has been talk about a possible reshuffle of Brnabic’s cabinet for some time with speculation that some Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) officials could move from posts in the Belgrade city authorities >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << to the Serbian government.
President Aleksandar Vucic said earlier that the government would be reshuffled but that the priority at present is a “solution to the Kosovo knot”while Prime Minister Brnabic said that “everyone who is unable to give all of themselves” will be dismissed from her cabinet. She said there is no reason to wait to replace someone since the interests of the population come first.
