Mass production of James Bond’s flying suit starts

For decades, the backpack which James Bond used to fly in the 1965 film “Thunderball” has been one of the main points of intrigue in science fiction, prompting engineers to occasionally make experimental devices, but none ended in mass production because they were seen as too hazardous.

A British engineer Richard Brown is now ready to start producing his Jet Suit at an initial price of some 300, 000 Euros.

The flying suit uses up to four litres of kerosene or diesel >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << per minute thus enabling the flight to last just five to ten minutes.

Brown says that flying is no harder to steer than a top quality motorcycle or race car and that the flyer feels no more heat than as if he was wearing a leather suit on a warm day.
