Kosovo’s PM: Just first results, not CSM statute by August 4
The Prime Minister of Kosovo said that the deadline for drafting the statute of the Community of Serb Municipalities (CSM) was not August 4, but that then or the next day first results of the work of the managing team would be made public, the Srna news agency reported late on Tuesday.
Addressing the media in Pristina, Ramush Haradinaj said that the work on the draft would continue after the government and “all others comment and give suggestions.”
“In the >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << end, we must be certain that everything (in the draft) is in line with the Kosovo Constitution and the laws, as was agreed,” Haradinaj said.
On April 5, the European Union gave Pristina a fourth-month deadline to draft the CSM statute.
Brussels said at the time that it was “Pristina’s top priority” and that it should work on it following “the agreement reached” for the establishment of the CSM.
