Kosovo president rejects possible division
President Hashim Thaci rejected any possible discussion of a division of Kosovo, saying it was false news launched to gauge reactions.
“False news are being launched and are becoming political topics. Those ideas should be checked out to see if someone is launching them to start a debate. The idea of an exchange of territoriy was false news meant to see reactions in Kosovo, Serbia and the capitals of the countries of the region,” the Kosovo president told Pristina >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << TV station Klan Kosova.
Thaci said his meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is possible and would be welcome. He said German Chancellor Angela Merkel could organize their meeting to send the message that they have to move forward to normalize relations. “By demanding responsibility from us, everyone understands that a final solution includes stabilization which is more than just the relations between our two countries but means regional stability,” the president of Kosovo said.
