CEB lends Serbia € 200 million for health service

The Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) Administrative Board approved a loan worth 200 million Euros to Serbia for the improvement of the country’s health system, a bank’s statement carried by the Beta news agency said on Friday.

The statement said the money was meant for the investments into health service infrastructure, and the CEB would finance the improvement of public health service in some 20 towns in Serbia.

Besides Serbia, the CEB approved a total loan worth 1.1 billion Euros to the Czech Republic, Finland, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Slovenia and Spain.
