Serbian national arrested for transporting migrants
A Serbian national was arrested on June 4 near the central Croatian town of Slunj, suspected of transporting 23 migrants through Croatia with the intention of getting them across the border into another European Union member state, the city of Karlovac Police said in a press release on Wednesday.
The man is suspected of transporting the migrants in inhumane conditions, out of self-interest and for a previously agreed sum, the press release said.
