The City of Kragujevac continues to support good international cooperation projects in the field of education, and this is one of fine examples. Cooperation between educational and cultural institutions of these two sister cities that includes exchange of pupils and them getting to know each other by working on joint ever developing projects, contribute to this aim in the best possible manner. Thus, our pupils have visited Bydgoszcz last year and presented their art works at the exhibition, and now we have the opportunity to host representatives of the educational institution from this sister city, said Professor Nedeljko Manojlovic, PhD, the City Council of Kragujevac Member for education. He added that such exchanges are very beneficial as they give young people a chance not only to exchange their knowledge and experience, but also to find out something more about cultures and customs of the friendly nations.

The reception was held in the presence of music professors and conductors Gordana Vuckovic and Ana Matijevic Komorowska, professor of guitar Violetta Drazkowska and Professor Marko Nesic, M.A, as well as art professors Andjelka Armus, Agata Faszcza, Slobodan Stefanovic and Marica Zivanovic Poljo, who all received certificate of appreciation for participating at the project.

Project The Friend Without Frontiers II is continuation of cooperation between the House of Culture no. 5 from Bydgoszcz and educational institutions from Kragujevac that has been lasting for six years now. During that period we have organized 12 different projects in the form of exhibitions, music events, creative and educational workshops, etc, commented Ana Matijevic Komorowska, the project coordinator and conductor of the Youth orchestra Fordon's Camerata. This is the fifth time that the young people meet to jointly participate at the workshops, which were held at the First Grammar School, the High Vocational School Kragujevac and the Elementary School Milutin and Draginja Todorovic, she remarked.

Within the music workshops pupils prepared the suite with the motives of the Polish and the Serbian music, traditional ethnic dances, as well as some modern compositions, which is to be performed at the concert on Wednesday, November 28. Joint art and photograph works depicting two sister cities of Bydgoszcz and Kragujevac, are to be presented on the same day at the exhibition at the Cultural Center UMMUS.
