Vucic: Serbs and Albanians should solve their issues forever
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that the comments his visit to Kosovo and Metohija sparked were “pamphletisms” of his political opponents and that it would be best if Serbs and Albanians would reach an agreement and solve their problems once and for all.
In an article for the Serbian paper ‘Blic’, Vucic wrote that his politics is aimed against “myths” coming from the left, the right and from the region, such as that Serbia is “always to blame and always >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << wants to expand at the expense of others.”
“When I said clearly that I want us to ‘conquer’ with laptops, knowledge, books and pens, and not just the Balkans, but the future, this was ignored. Just as part of the Serbian public ignored the fact that my visit to Kosovo discontinued (Slobodan) Milosevic’s politics,” Vucic wrote.
The Serbian President assessed that this is not in line with the stance of a part of Serbia’s population, which is based on the opinion that he is evil and that he wants war, and he added that “commentators who write pamphlets” skip those facts which are not in their favour.
