Thaci: I had the honour of visiting Gazivode Lake by boat
Kosovo President Hashim Thaci said he had the honour to walk in northern Kosovo and to visit the Gazivode Lake by boat, pointing out that it is all part of the Republic of Kosovo.
Speaking to the press at Lake Gazivode, he said he was overwhelmed by emotions while visiting that part of Kosovo.
"I would like to send the best message to all the citizens of Kosovo from this beautiful place, this strong >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << energy and agricultural resource of the Republic of Kosovo. I want us to work together for a new Kosovo, a Kosovo which is a NATO and the EU member state," Thaci said. "Kosovo is united, multi-ethnic independent and a sovereign. The talks which will be held in days and months to come in Brussels will be held for the peace and stability and for our joint recognition."
"I met with some local Serbs who I’m friends with and I had a coffee and an honest conversation with them. I’m here to serve all the Kosovo citizens," the Kosovo President noted.
Thaci was accompanied by Kosovo Finance Minister Bedri Hamza and Director of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency Spend Ahmeti as well as Rasit Calaj the Director of the Kosovo Police, in his visit to Lake Gazivode.
Beta news agency learned that all ROSU units withdrew from the North of Kosovo and returned to their base when Thaci ended his visit.
