Serbians not informed about Kosovo
Serbians aren’t informed enough to take a stand on Kosovo and the authorities aren’t offering them information on possible solutions, the latest poll has shown.
The poll, conducted by the Open Society Foundation and Ipsos Strategic Marketing, showed that people in Serbia do not see Kosovo as the worst problem because they face day to day survival problems but that it does become a priority issue when something >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << happens in Kosovo.
A third of the 1,045 people polled said they do not want to see a compromise solution but most of them are not prepared to sacrifice themselves for Kosovo. A majority feel that Serbia has no influence in Kosovo and fear that Serbia could break up further.
The polled said they see western pressure in the attempts to solve the issue which is not fundamental to the quality of their lives.
