RTS crew arrested in Kosovo
Part of a Serbian state TV crew were arrested in the Kosovo town of Pec
The Kosovo police arrested three members of a Serbian state TV (RTS) crew taping part of the documentary series The Right to Tomorrow (Serbian - Pravo na sutra) about seized Serb property after a local Albanian in the town of Pec reported seeing them with cameras.
The RTS said >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << cameraman Aleksandar Stipic, producer Biljana Erdeljan and driver Dalibor Milutinovic were arrested on Wednesday afternoon along with a group of five lawyers. RTS Editor Svetlana Vukmirovic said the rest of the crew were not arrested because they were in a second car parked in front of the local police station.
The RTS said the crew members and lawyers were searched, their identities checked along with the date of entry into Kosovo and they were interrogated for five hours.
Vukmirovic said she informed the Office for Kosovo after more than an hour following the arrests and the crew was released that evening following an intervention from that Serbian Government body. The crew left Pec for Gracanica.
