Pacolli says Liberia opening embassy in Kosovo
Kosovo’s Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli wrote on his Twitter account that Liberia has agreed to open its embassy in Pristina, the Beta news agency reported on Thursday.
“I had a great meeting with Liberian Acting Foreign Minister Elias Shoniyin with whom we exchanged views on our bilateral cooperation and the potentia Kosovo and Liberia have to >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << strengthen ties. We look forward to the opening of the Embassy of Liberia in Kosovo,” Pacolli tweeted during his visit to Monrovia.

Pacolli also met with Liberian President George Weah, tweeting that they “reaffirmed our strong ties and commitment to expand the bilateral cooperation. Kosovo and Liberia value the meaning of independence and freedom”. “Look forward to his visit to Kosovo,” he added.
Liberian Foreign Minister Gbehzohngar Milton Findley handed his Serbian counterpart Ivica Dacic a diplomatic note, copies of which were handed out to reporters, from his government saying that official Monrovia “annuls its letter of recognition of Kosovo”. Pacolli reacted that same day and the Liberian Foreign Ministry issued a short statement the next day both denying the reports that Liberia withdraw its recognition of Kosovo.
