Nothing will happen without you, Belgrade tells Kosovo Serbs
Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic told Kosovo Serbs on Wednesday that Belgrade would make no decision without them, and that he would address them in September, the Beta news agency reported.
“I want us to work, plan, live together. Serbia is with you and will always be,” Vucic told the Kosovo Serbs by phone while they held a meeting with Marko Djuric, the head of Serbia’s Government Office for Kosovo in Mitrovica.

“You won’t have less money, less safety, or anything else. You will have everything more and more (of) Serbia here in Kosovo,” Djuric said.
Both Vucic and Djuric addressed the fellow Serbs in Kosovo amid frequent messages by the Albanian leaders saying they would not allow a partition of Kosovo or a swap of territories, but that only Serbia’s southern region of Presevo Valley, mostly populated by the ethnic Albanians, could secede and join Kosovo.
Neither Vucic nor Djuric commented on the issue.
