"More serious investigation into Ivanovic’s murder needed"
The investigation into the murder of Kosovo Serb politician Oliver Ivanovic must be conducted more seriously, responsibly and efficiently, the Director of Serbia’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric, said.
Ivanovic, who was the leader of the GI – SDP party in Kosovo, was gunned down in front of his party headquarters on January 16 by an unidentified gunman shooting from a moving car.
"Our >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << justice and police institutions have requested cooperation with the world’s biggest security, intelligence and justice institutions in this case," Djuric said.
"However, we for now have no answer to it coming from Pristina, not even an excuse for why the investigation into this case is happening unacceptably late,” he said, adding that a lot of things still need to be agreed on with Kosovo.
The wife of late Ivanovic, Milena, told N1 in an informal conversation that she receives information on the investigation only unofficially, and that she will go to Kosovo to testify soon.
