Kosovo’s managing team: CSM draft statute by August 4
The Kosovo managing team for establishing the Community of Serb Municipalities (CSM) said in a statement on Wednesday that the draft of the CSM statute would be done by August 4, a day after Pristina top official said that only first results of the team's work would be made public.
The August deadline was set in April by the European Union which facilitate the Brussel-hosted Belgrade – Pristina dialogue on normalisation of relations.
The Beta news agency reported >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << that the managing team’s members met the chief of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo Jan Braathu whom they told that in drafting the statute they followed the provisions stipulated by the First agreement on Belgrade – Pristina dialogue and other relevant documents.
“The managing team is ready to present the draft to the implementation bodies and all high-ranked participants in the dialogue, at any moment on August 4 if asked by Brussels,” the team’s statement said.
Late on Tuesday, Kosovo’s Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said that the work on the draft would continue after the government and “all others comment and give suggestions.”
