Kosovo's Haradinaj: Reconciliation in return for recognition
Kosovo will accept reconciliation with Serbia in return for recognition of independence, said Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.
“What could Kosovo give in return for reconciliation agreement. Only reconciliation, because there is nothing else to give. Reconciliation is not small, it means we are forgetting our pain for the missing and killed ones, damage, victims of sexual violence, devastated and robbed >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << economy. And when we reconcile we give a lot, a lot more than anyone could give. I don’t say we should forget, we can never do tat, but we can reconcile, in return for recognition,” said Kosovo’s official.
He refused to speculate about when this could happen.
“Is it this year? I can’t tell, but we asked our friends to help and when I say that Kosovo stands with America, it does so for its own interests,” said Haradinaj.
