Kosovo president meets OIC chief

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci on Tuesday called the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to help get more countries to recognize Kosovo.

A statement from the Kosovo president’s cabinet said that Thaci and OIC Secretary General Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen met on the margins of the UN General Assembly session and discussed expanding cooperation between >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << Kosovo and the organization’s 57 member states.

Thaci requested OIC support for Kosovo’s membership in Interpol and other international organizations, the statement said and added that the OIC secretary general confirmed that the organization would continue its support for Kosovo.
