Under the Serbian Constitution, the Cyrillic alphabet is in use for official documents with the use of the Latin alphabet allowed for documents issued to national minorities.
“The document came in Cyrillic. Although I can read it, we asked for the report to be sent in three languages. That is their obligation and when we send materials we send them in three languages. We requested and have to receive the report in the official languages, not just in one. The Ministry [of Administration and Local Government] should translate the transcript and send it back in a language we understand. Once that is done we will review the material,” Haradinaj is quoted as saying by the KoSSev portal.
