Kosovo PM says he won’t deploy military in north
Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said he did not want to deploy future military forces to the mainly Serb-populated north of Kosovo.
Haradinaj told the Kosovapress agency that a future military would be organized regionally like KFOR with central, southern and northern segments but added that this does not mean that forces would be deployed in the north.
“That does not meant that we want to send >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << units north, this is a misunderstanding. We are partners with KFOR and we will offer support in all parts of Kosovo like we do in Pec or Djakovica,” the Kosovo prime minister said.
Serbian and Kosovo Serb politicians have been claiming that the authorities in Pristina want to form a military force which would be deployed in northern Kosovo.
