Institute denies Blair involvement in Kosovo negotiations
The Tony Blair Institute for Global Change denied that the former British Prime Minister was negotiating a resolution to the Kosovo issue on behalf of the Serbian president and government, the KoSSev portal reported on Wednesday.
The Institute sent the portal a short written reply to the portal saying that Blair absolutely does not speak on behalf of the Serbian government or president. “The project of this institute has nothing to do with the question of >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << Kosovo,” spokeswoman Julie Crowley wrote in her reply.
Serbian opposition leader, former UN General Assembly President and Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic told N1 that Tony Blair was conducting the most intensive covert negotiations on demarcation in Kosovo with top international officials on behalf of the Serbian president. President Aleksandar Vucic denied the claim, saying that he was the only one negotiating a solution for Kosovo.
