Haradinaj: recognition solution to Kosovo-Serbia dispute
Kosovo is committed to continuing the dialogue with Serbia but with mutual recognition as the way to solve the dispute, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said in Vienna on Monday.
Speaking at a meeting with the prime ministers of the Western Balkans organized by Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, Haradinaj said mutual recognition is the only way to solve the dispute.
He said Pristina is committed to establishing >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << good neighbour relations both economically and politically but added that Kosovo was not treated fairly by Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina which had imposed high tariffs. “We have not been treated equally by our neighbours, Serbia and BiH. Tariff barriers prevented goods from Kosovo from moving through Serbia, he said.

The prime minister said Pristina is ready improve relations with the countries of the region and is committed to its “own responsibilities on Europe’s interest for the region”.
According to Haradinaj, the visa free regime is an opportunity for Kosovo to partner with EU in the economy. He said all 95 conditions for the visa liberalization had been met and warned that “not approving the visa free regime would not be good signal for the citizens of Kosovo”.
