Vucic spoke to Erdogan about Mitrovica incident
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke to his Turskih counterpar Recep Tayyip Erdogan about the recent events in Kosovska Mitrovica
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic informed his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan about the “details of the grave incident and attack which the Kosovo authorities launched in northern Kosovo”, a statement from the president’s cabinet said.
It quoted >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << Vucic as saying that Serbia will continue to invest in peace and the future but “cannot allow anyone in the world the right to humiliate its people and state”. The statement said that Erdogan “highly values the coldblooded and wise reaction by President Vucic and the Serbian authorities and that he believes all problems in Kosovo can and must be solved peacefully”.
The two presidents agreed that “the power of leadership does not lie in causing unrest and bloodshed but in solving the many inherited problems”, the statement said.
Erdogan invited Vucic to Ankara, the statement said without specifying when the visit would take place.
