The Mayor Nikolic Congratulated the FCA Serbia on Acknowledgement
The company FCA Serbia has achieved exquisite, silver level in World Class Manufacturing – WCM, which the leading international standard in manufacturing organization.
«The Company's management and all employees has demonstrated extraordinary dedication, while the most significant improvement were made in the field of logistics and development», commented Francesco Ciancia, the director of the company FCA Serbia, at the meeting held with Mayor of Kragujevac Radomir Nikolic. On this >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu Kragujevac.rs << occasion were discussed present cooperation, but also future steps with aim to upgrade partnership between the FCA and the city. «This advancement in the world class manufacturing came very fast considering that this is very young factory, which started manufacturing the FIAT 500L model in july of 2012, achieving the bronze level of WMC standard was achieved last year. It is great stimulus for our future work. We showed dedication of management and great motivation on every level within the factory», added Francesco Ciancia.
Congratulating on the acknowledgement, Nikolic remained that due to downfall of Zastava factory the city was in very difficult situation, and when the FIAT came everything turned around in every segment of life, not only economy. «You have brought to Kragujevac much more than investment. The biggest benefit is the knowledge that you have passed on to young people, and that we feel a part of Europe for Kragujevac is once again on the map of automobile industry. Owing to FIAT we have here Johnson controls, Magnetti Marelli and Sigit, which means a lot to us as it is push in the right direction in finding new investors», concluded Nikolic.
