Altertainment was born in December 2008 as a reaction to the absence of indie club in Novi Sad, Serbia and opportunity for people enjoying in indie scene to listen to the music they like when they go out. As an event promoting alternative-indie music it had begun its life in club Gerila and shortly after that continued to live in club Izba.
As a radio show at online Radio Elektrana (www.radio.elektrana.net ), Altertainment has been broadcasted since June 2009. Initiator for this idea is altertainmentNS with the strong influences of apacrow and support of several friends.
