For more than 15 years, Jennifer Cardini has been working the European electronic dance music circuit.
In 2008, she became the first female French artist to sign with Kompakt, representing a more sophisticated and sensitive side of the famous Cologne-based label. The devoted techno fan turned into a DJ herself around 1994, and it didn't take long before she played the Panic in Detroit party in Nice alongside Luke Slater and Jeff Mills. She moved to Paris in 1998 and quickly became a resident at two of the most influential venues at the time - Le Pulp and Rex Club. Over the course of her career, Cardini has continued to work hard and constantly improve, landing her regular appearances at elite venues like Fabric in London, Womb in Tokyo, and Panorama Bar in Berlin.
Most recently, Cardini has been spending more time continuing her production efforts, focusing on her current solo projects. She also started her own label, Correspondant, as an outlet for her musical vision
As a member of Kompakt since the early '90s, Reinhard Voigt has been a key player in the development and subsequent success of this legendary Cologne-based record label.
His releases have been highly sought and have have given an abrasive twist to the typical Kompakt sound. His signature sound is continental techno with a healthy dollop of subversive-yet-catchy pop, which makes for DJ sets that please both the cognoscenti and the casual clubgoers alike.
