Over the last 15 years, Isolée has managed to create a breathtaking trademark sound.
In 1998, Isolée achieved a timeless stroke of genius with “Beau Mot Plage”, which enchanted listeners across genres and the world, pushing the boundaries of electronic dance music further than they’d ever been pushed before. Isolée released three full-length recordings, all of which were well regarded: the microhouse classic Rest (Playhouse, 2000), the fuller-sounding We Are Monster (Playhouse, 2005), and his first release for DJ Koze's label, Well Spent Youth(Pampa, 2011). He also did a number of remixes for artists like Recloose, Blaze, Franz Ferdinand, Roy Davis Jr., Tiga, Alter Ego and International Pony, to name a few.
People dance to Isolée’s music with their eyes closed, but it’s an equal pleasure to play his music at home on your living room system.
