Serbian students' in Spain left without accomodation
A group of 150 students who set off for an excursion to Spain two days ago is returning home on Saturday because the tourist agency that organised their trip has not paid for their accommodation in Spain.
Students of the Ninth Belgrade Gymnasium and several other high schools arrived in Lloret de Mar, Spain, on Friday but could not check into the hotel they were supposed to be staying at, as the tourist agency which organised the trip never made a payment.
The excursion >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << had to be cut short.
Serbia’s Tourism Minister, Rasim Ljalic, said that the ‘B2R’ tourist agency will lose it’s licence because it deceived the students.
The Education Ministry said that the excursion was organised by a professor and that the Ministry or the school in question are not responsible for the development. The professor who organised the trip will face a disciplinary procedure, it said.
