Vucic visits construction site in southeastern canyon
Completing the construction of the highway route through the Grdelicka Klisura canyon, in the south-east of Serbia, is a priority and is expected to be finished by end of the year, President Aleksandar Vucic said on Sunday during the visit to this construction site.
The construction works may be prolonged to the end of the January next year but what matters the most is making the highway section safe, Vucic added.
A sustaining wall collapsed three times on this location, >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << the president said adding that the plan should change including the changes of the terrain in this area.
“Finish this job so the citizens of Serbia are safe and secure,” he added.
The president thanked all those who took the responsibility after the sustaining wall collapse, as the accident was followed by a negative campaign and the many were not willing to accept these construction works.
