Vucic assumes Serbia’s Govt. will terminate contracts with Rio Tinto
Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic said late on Wednesday he assumed the Government would ban Rio Tinto’s lithium exploitation in the west of the country but that he was more in favour of a moratorium on the issue.

Russian opposition politician Vladimir Kara-Murza said he was surprised that the issue of a Russian opposition seminar in Belgrade in May 2021 was raised now and added, "it is sad to see Serbia's Government volunteering to serve as (Russian President Vladimir) Putin's special services."
