US Envoy: Neither Belgrade nor Pristina will get everything
The US ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott said on Monday that he believed that the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina should intensify and reach a compromise “maybe even this year”, adding that neither side would get everything they wanted.
The recent US statement saying it wanted to encourage Belgrade and Pristina to agree on a compromise solution was, according to Scott, a part of the US foreign policy.
He added that “a compromise is not an ugly word, but a compromising >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << pillar of the international policies.”
"That is why the dialogue mediated by the European Union is so meaningful,” he told Serbia's state RTS television.
Scott said his dream was for Serbia to live in peace, stability and good neighbourly relations.
