Traffic police to step up control
The Serbian Traffic Police will step up its control of vehicles on roads across the country between April 16 and 22.
The Internal Affairs Ministry (MUP) said that the increased control of vehicle speed aimed at increasing traffic safety.
According to MUP statistics almost half of the deaths in traffic accidents are caused by speeding drivers.
The MUP said the traffic police would also be checking to see if all passengers are using seat belts.
