Three locations for museums for victims of the Holocaust in Belgrade

Holocaust Museum will be located in the Exhibition Pavilion Nikola Spasic, the Old Fairgrounds and will have autonomy within the memorial complex in a Jewish community in Belgrade, reports Novosti.

Museums of Serbian victims and Porajmos (genocide against Roma) will have their autonomy.

Serbian memorial will be located in the German Pavilion, and Roma people have chosen the former building of the Turkish pavilion.

Each of these museums will have its administrators >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu Telegraf.rs << and governing bodies.

According to Bishop Jovan Culibrk, President of the Commission for the establishment of programs and making proposals to the management model of the memorial complex, at the March meeting with representatives of the Jewish community, they were offered to choose between Spasic pavilion and the former German.

Since the Jewish community opted for Spasic pavilion, the German will be a memorial to Serbian victims.

The draft law should be done bye the end of this year.

- I believe that the Commission will have in one, or two meetings the most the draft law. It is real to get the public hearing by fall and to get the law by the New Year - said bishop Jovan.

The last unmarked large camp in Europe will be marked with the adoption of the law, where more than 18.000 people were killed.
