The real gem of the Balkans, waterfall Kravice: People around the world come to enjoy the oasis, water amphitheater is a special magic (PHOTO) (VIDEO)

Waterfall Kravica, near Ljubuski in Herzegovina, a favorite local watering-place and picnic area, and it is visited daily by many tourists from all over the world.

It is hard to say this jewel is more beautiful when you look at it approaching it from above while its true beauty is hidden by green surrounding it, or when you climb down the stairs to its base, where you are welcomed by 26 to 28 meter tall waterfalls building a water amphitheater.

Waterfall Kravice is located about three kilometers downstream from Vitaljina in Studenci near Ljubuski. Created by the river Trebizat. 

Poplar trees, figs and hemp can be seen around waterfall. Paved stairs lead to the waterfall, and you can enjoy the Mediterranean vegetation through which you can see crystal clear water.

In recent years, this place has become an inevitable destination for almost all the pilgrims from various countries of the world who come with bus for several days in Medjugorje - and they visit waterfall Kravice.

Ticket price per person is 4 km (about 2 euros) and if you want to use the parking inside the complex, you will pay an additional fee depending on the type of vehicle.

Before the entrance you have several stalls with souvenirs, even though they have more motifs of Medjugorje than the waterfall.

Many tourists come here to enjoy the beautiful scenery, and some of them came from Australia, New Zealand, USA, Great Britain, the Scandinavian countries, Korea and the countries of the Arab world, according to Klix.ba.

The most numerous are the Czechs, Slovaks, Poles, Italians and visitors from all over the Western Balkans.
