Our first commercial was for Kaladont in 1926 from the period of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenians.
The commercial was recorded in Belgrade in the production of "Pobeda film", it lasts for 7 minutes and was made in technique of moving images.
The commercial has a story, which is truly wonderful for today's time and would fit into 5 seconds today, but it was revolutionary back then. Commercials like this were shown in cinemas. These commercials were very seen at the time, especially after the 1927, when the first sound movies were played.
If you compare this commercial with today's, the idea about advertising cosmetic products hasn't changed that much. This commercial reminds on the one: "Why are all the men in my line?", "Its not me, its my Schauma".

Kaladont has such an impact on the people that it ruled the market and it was a synonym for a toothpaste. So even today among the older population, instead of the phrase toothpaste, people are using "Kaladont".
