Goran Svilanovic, Secretary General for Regional Cooperation (RCC) said that the arrival of well-known music festival EXIT to the Bosnian MT. Of Jahorina could mark a start of changes in BiH and better linkage of the country’s youths.

Three-day EXIT “Festival 84” on Jahorina symbolically links the most famous music event in the region to the memory of the Winter Olympics held in BiH, then a part of former Yugoslavia, 34 years ago.

The EXIT founder Dusan Kovacevic said that the “Silent Balkan Majority” initiative was propelled to “raise the voice against tensions, to prevent a minority from infatuating the nations in the region again what could trigger new conflicts.

It’s been said that “Festival 84” represents a step forward towards the reconciliation among nations and especially among the young people.

EXIT was founded in Serbia’s northern city of Novi Sad in 2000 as a students’ movement for democracy and freedom. During the following years of existence, it has gained international media attention. The International edition of CNN World Fiesta, featured an article on music festivals early June 2011, including EXIT on the list of nine best festivals in the world.

EXIT also received a number of international awards, as well as its sea edition Sea Dance festival which was awarded the "Best Mid-Sized European festival" in 2015.
