Students teach elderly to use social media
Young people from Belgrade faculties of Philosophy and Organisational Sciences start teaching computer literacy to elderly people, mostly pensioners, N1 reported on Friday.
The project is currently under way in gerontology institutions equipped with computers.
The participants told the TV they also wanted to learn how to use Skype application for communication because, as they said, they had friends outside Serbia and free calls would make a big difference in their everyday life.
The members of old people homes say they are happy with their teachers and “feel younger” around students.
