Southern Serbia Albanian support for exchange of territories
An Albanian political leader in southern Serbia has said he would support an exchange of territories if Belgrade and Pristina decide on that solution.
“We will support the policies of the Kosovo side and if Pristina and Belgrade agree that the solution is an exchange of territories – southern Serbia for northern Kosovo – we will probably support it,” Ragmi Mustafa, the leader of the Democratic Party of Albanians, is quoted as saying by the Beta news agency.

Mustafa said his party wants the Albanians in southern Serbia to get the same political status as the Serbs in northern Kosovo. “If the solution is an exchange of territories, then that issue is certainly resolved,” he said.
