Serbia’s national minorities elect their representatives

Polling stations opened at 7 am Sunday for Serbia’s national minorities who are for the third time electing their representatives to the national minorities council.

A total of 467,545 voters registered at special electoral rolls will directly elect representatives of 18 minority groups, while those who will represent Croats, Montenegrins, Russians and Macedonians will be chosen by electoral councils.

The 926 polling stations will remain open until 20 o’clock.
