Serbia's minister :Good cooperation with US agencies
The cooperation between Serbia’s police and the US law enforcement agencies is at an exceptional level, Nebojsa Stefanovic, Interior Minister, has said on Friday in a meeting with the US Congressman Ted Poe, the Beta news agency reports.
Stefanovic added there was room for better links, primarily in preventing human trafficking, terrorism and drug smuggling.
A statement from his cabinet said Stefanovic informed the congressman, who chairs the US Foreign Affairs Subcommittee >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << on Terrorism, Nonproliferation, and Trade, about an improvement Serbia had made in fighting money laundering and financing terrorism.
Poe was quoted as saying the joint fight against terrorism was in the two countries’ shared interest.
One of the topics, according to the statement, was a possibility of improving the cooperation in fighting high-tech crime.
