Serbia’s armourers get over 80 Euros bonus
The workers of Zastava oruzje, Serbia’s weapon producer, received on Friday a bonus worth some 83 Euros each as the factory’s management promised when asking them to stop a strike.
The gunsmiths from Serbia’s central city of Kragujevac said it was not a total amount they agreed with the management, adding they owed them additional 40 Euros per worker.
“We are getting back to the routine. We work in full steam,“ Milojko Brzakovic, the factory’s director told >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << N1, adding that the remaining part of the bonuses would be paid in the last quarter of 2018.
The Kragujevac armourers stopped a general strike on Monday and cancelled a protest in Belgrade after the number of workers participating in the walkout dropped significantly.
