Serbia’s GDP records second quarter growth
Serbia’s GDP recorded a rise of 4.8 percent in real terms in the second quarter of 2018 compared to the same period a year earlier, the Republic Statistics Office said on Friday
According to the Statistics Office, the rise is 0.8 percent compared to the first quarter of the year.
The second quarter saw a gross rise in VAT in the construction industry (22 percent), agriculture, forestry and fisheries (14.8 percent) and information and communication (5.9 percent). >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija <<
Household expenses rose by 3.1 percent as did the expenses of non-profit institutions providing household services (2.8 percent), state expenses rose by 5.3 percent, exports of goods and services by 7.1 percent and imports of goods and services by 9.2 percent.
The GDP recorded a rise of 4.5 percent in the first quarter.
The Serbian state budget included a planned GDP growth of 3.5 percent in 2018.
