Serbian energy supply stable, PM says
Serbia’s energy security is not in any danger, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said on Monday.
The natural gas storage facility in Banatski Dvor is being expanded and similar facilities are available for use in Hungary, she told reporters during a visit to the Serbian Oil Industry (NIS) Science and Technology Center in Novi Sad.
Existing facilities have the capacity to secure stable gas supplies, she said
Brnabic said that her government has “excellent communication” >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << with the Russian gas supplier Gazprom, but added that the gas inter-connection with Bulgaria should be set up as soon as possible.
The government has not been considering any intervention following the rise in oil prices on the global market but it is following the situation, the Prime Minister said.
