Serbian Railways changes departure station for two trains
The Serbian Railways company (Srbija Voz) has moved two trains on international lines to the Topcider station from Belgrade Centre.
A press release said that the international trains from Belgrade to the Bulgarian capital Sofia and the northern Greek city of Thesaloniki will leave from Topcider station as of July 25, 2018.
Srbija Voz said the decision to change the departure station was taken because of construction work on a railway section between the Belgrade Centre and Zemun stations.
Belgrade’s main railway station was closed down and will be turned into a museum. All trains have been moved to the Belgrade Centre and Topcider stations.
