Serbian Danube river port for sale
The port of Novi Sad is being offered for sale by the Serbian Ministry of the Economy at a starting price of 15.98 million Euros.
The ministry invitation for offers said 99.4 percent of the shares in the river port in the northern city is being sold. Offers have to be submitted by October 22 and will be opened on October 24.
The port of Novi Sad is the only port in which the Serbian government has a majority stake. About a million tonnes of goods pass through it every year and it employs some 150 people.
An earlier invitation for the sale of the port attracted 12 companies.
Serbian government denies weapons exports to Yemen
