Serbia deploys emergency service teams after storm warning
Serbia is deploying expert teams to help local authorities deal with the possible consequences of expected bad weather, a senior Internal Affairs Ministry official has said.
Ministry Emergency Situations Sector chief Predrag Maric said expert teams had been deployed in areas where bad weather is expected to work with local emergency and rescue services following storm warnings issued by the Serbian Hydro-meteorological Department.
Maric said states of emergency had been declared in the city of Cacak and 10 municipalities across the country.
