Pristina says EU progress report positive
The Kosovo government sees the European Commission’s annual report as the most positive to date.
“This is the most positive report that Kosovo got in the past few years on specific progress and trends which promote the process,” the government in Pristina said in a press release.
The Kosovo government feels that the report stressed >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << the progress achieved in rule of law and combatting organized crime and corruption, especially in high-level cases, seizure of assets and measures to prevent extremism and radicalism.
"Kosovo has no dilemma about its road to the European Union, despite the fact that the EU is divided over the integration of Kosovo into the European family. The progress mentioned in this report is clear proof that all the criteria have been met for a liberalization of the visa regime,” the government said, adding that it expects .
“The government will identify the challenges mentioned in the report and will work towards resolving them as quickly as possible,” it said.
