President welcomes United Group investments in Serbia
Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic welcomed the United Group’s announced investments of almost 300 million Euro into digital infrastructure in Serbia.
“We welcome your investment. I am satisfied with the number of people you employ and that is a great contribution to our economy. You will always have our support despite the clear disagreement with the way you present Serbia on your channels,” President Vucic told representatives of the United Group’s majority owner, the >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << KKR global investment company.
A statement from the president’s press service quoted Johannes Huth, head of KKR operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as saying that the intention to invest almost 300 million Euro in Serbia is strong proof of readiness to invest in the long term, adding that it is important for people to see that there is a favourable climate for investors in Serbia as a sign for other global companies to follow the example of KKR.
