President, opposition leader exchange messages
Serbia will start marking a victory day twice a year, the first time on May 9 and the second time on the day of removal of the current government, one of Serbia’s opposition leaders Dragan Djilas has said.
Speaking for Belgrade-based daily “Blic”, Djilas said “we will celebrate the day when we remove the government as one more day of victory against fascism.”
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who is also the leader of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << responded to Djilas by saying he was someone who got rich at people’s expense.
According to news agencies, Vucic said that Djilas reported EUR 70,000 of saving in 2007, and nine years later a saving in the amount of EUR 6.5 million.
