No sanctions on Russia, Serbian Defence Minister says
Serbia will not impose sanctions on Russia, Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin said during Friday’s meeting with a Russian delegation.
He said Serbia is not considering the possibility of imposing any kinds of sanctions against Russia and added that Serbia appreciates the fact that Russia understands the desire to have good relations with both East and West, a ministry press release said.
It quoted him as saying that military-technical cooperation with Russia is of strategic >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << importance to Serbia. “The strategic goal of defence cooperation with Russia is the further development of military-economic and -technical cooperation,” Vulin is quoted as saying during a meeting with Russian official in charge of military-technical cooperation Andrey Boytsov.
Boytsov is in Belgrade to attend a meeting of the Serbia-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation which discussed upgrades to Serbian weapons and equipment and deliveries of defence industry products.
